The VP-201 is VEMAR's all-season motorcycle riding pant built around three features that distinguish it from basic riding trousers: CE Level 2 knee certification (the highest CE level for knee protectors — not Level 1), 3M Thinsulate Xerogel insulation derived from 3M space technology delivering double thermal retention at 20× the breathability of conventional lining, and Y-MAG magnetic quick-closure for gloved entry and exit without zipper fumbling. Outer shell is 92% Polyester + 8% Spandex with Cordura technology — waterproof, windproof, quick-dry, anti-UV, flame-retardant. S to 5XL, 1.0kg.
- CE Level 2 knee pads — the highest CE knee certification, not the baseline: EN 1621-1 CE certification for knee protectors has two levels. CE Level 1 (transmitted force ≤35kN average) is the standard for most motorcycle jean and trouser knee pads. CE Level 2 (transmitted force ≤20kN average) is the more protective standard — it requires the pad to transmit significantly less force than Level 1. The 92% Polyester shell with Cordura technology provides structural water resistance but without a stated rating the performance level in sustained heavy rain is unconfirmed. The 3M Thinsulate lining will absorb moisture if water reaches it through sustained ingress — once saturated the Thinsulate's thermal performance is significantly reduced until dried.
