Size Tip: Measure your waist, hip, and side length (from hip bone to floor — this chart uses outer-seam side length, not inseam). Size to your hip, since the protector pockets are positioned by hip measurement. The chart shows two waist figures — a natural waistline and a maximum elastic stretch; if you plan to wear a thermal base layer underneath, use the stretch column to confirm the waistband accommodates the extra bulk.
