Lightweight waterproof rain suit designed to go over motorcycle riding gear. Polyester outer with TPU waterproof film and PVC backing, breathable mesh lining, underarm and back ventilation, noise-free fabric, windproof construction, and foldable carry-case design. Unisex, M–3XL.
- TPU film + PVC backing — what "100% waterproof" means in practice: TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a flexible waterproof membrane laminated to the polyester outer. PVC backing adds an additional barrier layer. Together they block liquid water ingress through the fabric face. "100% waterproof" refers to the fabric panels — seams and zippers are not always fully sealed in a rain over-suit at this price point. In sustained heavy rain, water can enter at unsealed zipper tracks and stitching lines. Confirm whether seams are taped and whether zippers are waterproof-rated if riding in prolonged downpours.
- Designed to fit over riding gear — size accordingly: This is a rain over-suit, not a standalone riding jacket. The garment measurements are cut to accommodate a base riding jacket and pants underneath — the bust at M is 113cm and waist at M is 60cm, which is significantly larger than a fitted jacket. Do not size to your body measurements directly. The recommended height/weight table is the more reliable sizing reference for over-suits. If you ride with a bulky winter jacket or back protector, size up one from the height/weight recommendation.
- Foldable carry case — pack size and wet storage: The rain suit folds into a carry case for storage when not in use — a practical feature for storing in a tank bag or top box. Do not store the suit wet in the carry case — pack wet nylon compacted in a sealed case develops mould at the seams and causes the TPU coating to delaminate from the polyester over repeated cycles. After a wet ride, hang the suit open to dry fully before packing. The carry case is ventilated or can be left open during transport to allow continued drying.
- Noise-free fabric — what this refers to and why it matters: Standard nylon and polyester rain gear produces a pronounced rustling noise at riding speed that transmits through the helmet and is fatiguing on long rides. "Noise-free" fabric uses a softened surface treatment or a closely bonded laminate construction that reduces the high-frequency flutter noise at the fabric surface under airflow. The difference is meaningful on highway runs — confirm this characteristic with the seller as noise reduction quality varies between batches.
