The FF910 ADVANT2 is LS2's dual-sport full-face — a helmet geometry that adds a peaked sun visor and extended chin bar profile suited to both road and off-road use, built on a KPA (Kevlar-reinforced Polymer Alloy) carbon shell that reaches 1750g at the weight of an ABS helmet with a lighter structure. Dual-lens visor system — outer clear lens plus inner tinted visor — operates without tools or stops. Double D-ring retention is the motorcycle racing standard: the strap threads through two rings and back on itself, producing a mechanical lock that does not release under crash deceleration forces. Triple certified DOT, ECE, and 3C. Six sizes M to 4XL, no air vents.
- Check D-ring threading visually before every ride — tension alone is not enough: Thread through the first ring from below, through the second from below, then fold back upward under the retaining tab. A strap threaded through only one ring or not folded back can release under crash deceleration. Two-finger gap between strap underside and chin confirms correct tension once threading is verified.
- Confirm Pinlock compatibility before cold-weather use: The FF910 specification does not list an anti-fog insert. The dual-lens air gap provides partial fogging resistance but is not a sealed system. Below 10°C, exhaled breath condensation on the inner lens surface is likely without a sealed insert. Ask the seller whether the outer clear lens has Pinlock pins — if not, apply anti-fog spray to the inner lens before cold riding.
- 3XL and 4XL share a 62cm boundary — try both if possible: The size chart shows 3XL covering 61–62cm and 4XL covering 62–63cm. At exactly 62cm, EPS mould shape determines which fits. If ordering without trying on, choose 4XL at the boundary — a marginally large shell can be adjusted with a thicker liner insert; a tight shell cannot be expanded. If the helmet has perceptible movement when gripped and rocked at any size, it is too large.
- Store visor open between rides — no vents means trapped moisture: A no-vent helmet has no passive airflow path when stored. Cotton lining retains perspiration between rides. Storing with the visor closed traps moisture against the EPS lining — over time this softens the outer EPS surface and compresses the cotton. Leave the visor cracked open after each ride and fully open for overnight storage. If the lining is removable, air it separately.
Measure head circumference above the eyebrows, over the ears, and around the occipital protrusion at the rear. Take three measurements and use the largest. Note the 3XL/4XL boundary overlap at 62cm — if between sizes, choose the larger.
