Large-capacity waterproof Oxford helmet backpack with a honeycomb mesh foam back panel, padded shoulder straps, adjustable chest strap and waist belt, reflective accents, and sealed zipper. Fits most full-face helmets plus riding gear. Unisex. Grey, Red, Green, or Blue.
- Water-repellent Oxford — coating type, limits, and maintenance: The MC-0110 uses a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) or PU-coated Oxford fabric that sheds light to moderate rain from the surface. The coating prevents surface saturation but the bag is not sealed — zippers, seams, and the back panel interface are not waterproofed. In sustained rain, water will eventually ingress at these points. Pack electronics and documents in a dry bag inside the main compartment during wet riding. The coating depletes with UV exposure, abrasion, and washing — restore it annually with a fabric waterproofing spray applied after washing.
- Honeycomb mesh back panel — ventilation vs load distribution: The honeycomb foam creates a structured stand-off between the bag and the rider's back, reducing contact surface area and allowing airflow between bag and body at speed. This meaningfully reduces sweat build-up versus a flat-panel backpack in warm conditions. The foam also distributes load across the back rather than concentrating it at the shoulder strap attachment points — reducing localised pressure on longer rides. Set shoulder straps so the bag sits centred between the shoulder blades, not low on the lumbar.
- Chest strap and waist belt — why both matter for riding: A chest strap prevents the shoulder straps from splaying outward under load, keeping the bag centred and reducing pendulum sway during cornering. The waist belt transfers a portion of the bag's weight from the shoulders to the hips — reducing shoulder fatigue on rides over 1–2 hours with a fully loaded bag. Both straps should be set with the bag fully loaded and in riding posture (leaning forward toward the bars) — settings made standing will be too loose in riding position. The waist belt is supplementary, not a full hip-transfer system.
- Helmet fit at 28×35×46cm — constraining dimension is width: At 28cm wide, the bag's constraining dimension for helmet fitment is the width — most full-face helmets measure approximately 24–30cm across the widest point (cheek-to-cheek). A helmet at the upper end of that range will be a tight fit through the main opening and may deform flexible Oxford side panels when packed. Measure your helmet's widest point before ordering if purchasing specifically for helmet carry. The 46cm height and 35cm depth are generally non-constraining for standard adult full-face helmets.
- Reflective accents — placement and effectiveness: Reflective strips on the MC-0110 are positioned on the bag's rear face and shoulder straps, returning vehicle headlights toward following traffic and adjacent lanes. Effectiveness depends on keeping the panels clean and unobstructed — mud or gear strapped over the back panel reduces retroreflective performance. At highway speeds the bag moves with the rider and the reflective panels remain consistently visible to following traffic. In urban stop-start riding, the panels may be partially obscured by the rider's jacket. Check panel visibility is unobstructed before night riding.
* The 28cm width is the constraining dimension — measure your helmet's widest point (cheek-to-cheek) before ordering. Most full-face helmets up to approx. size XL fit within the 28cm opening.
