Size Tip: Size to chest measurement — the shoulder seam and armhole position govern how the armor pockets align. Leather breaks in and relaxes to your shape over 10–20 hours of riding, so if you're between sizes, go up: a slightly large chest can be managed at the waist, but a tight shoulder seam can't be corrected. In riding position with arms forward, confirm the shoulder seam sits at your shoulder point and your arm can fully extend without resistance at the armhole. Height is a secondary proportionality guide.
