The S28C uses carbon fiber elements at the fingertips and back of hand — the two zones where cold causes loss of sensation first during winter riding. A built-in 7.4V polymer battery powers three selectable heat levels with a 8.4V smart dual charger included. Waterproof leather outer, windproof wrist seal, touchscreen-compatible fingertips, and non-slip grip complete the construction across sizes XS to 3XL.
- Measure palm circumference, not hand length — M and L are only 0.5cm each: Wrap a tape around the widest part of the palm excluding the thumb. At the M/L boundary (20–21cm), tape angle alone can shift your reading by a full size. Measure three times, use the largest result, and round up if at a boundary. If you have longer-than-average fingers for your palm width, also go up one size regardless.
- Use only the included 8.4V smart dual charger: The auto-terminating function in the included charger is what prevents overcharge damage — generic single-channel lithium chargers lack this. Charge on a non-flammable surface and do not leave unattended overnight. Ensure the port cover is fully seated before any wet-weather riding; after riding in rain, dry the gloves before connecting the charger.
- Store at ~50% charge between seasons: Lithium polymer cells degrade faster when stored fully charged or near-depleted. After the winter season, run the gloves down to approximately half charge, then store in a cool dry location. Check every 2–3 months and top up to 50% if self-discharge has dropped the cell below 30% — sustained deep discharge permanently reduces cell capacity.
- Confirm the wrist closure overlaps your jacket sleeve: The elastic wrist band is the seal between glove and jacket — if it sits inside the sleeve or creates a gap, cold air enters at speed regardless of how well the rest of the glove fits. Pull the jacket sleeve down over the glove cuff by at least 3–4cm and confirm the overlap holds when the arm is fully extended to the handlebar.
Measure the widest part of the palm excluding the thumb. If you have long fingers for your palm width, size up by one — element alignment depends on finger length, not palm width alone.

* M (20–20.5cm) and L (20.5–21cm) share narrow 0.5cm ranges — measure carefully. If between sizes, choose larger to keep carbon fiber elements aligned with the fingertip rather than the knuckle.
