Engineered for summer motocross, dirt bike racing, and long-distance touring — the VND A-609 combines Cordura wear-resistant fabric with a Spandex and Polyester blend, seamless fusing, and automated cutting precision. CE Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors are included, with an EVA back protector and a chest protector pocket for optional upgrades. A detachable windproof hood, YKK zipper, adjustable cuffs and hem, nighttime reflective design, and high-density 300D nylon gear pockets complete a jacket built to perform from the first lap to the last stretch of highway.
* All included armor is removable for washing. Chest protector pocket is built into the jacket — chest protector purchased separately.
- Measure chest circumference, not body size, for jacket fit: The size chart uses chest circumference in centimetres as the primary reference — jacket sizing does not follow clothing size conventions. Measure around the fullest part of the chest and match directly to the chart.
- Summer-rated but adaptable with the hood: The A-609 is designed and ventilated for summer riding — the detachable windproof hood extends its usable range into cooler conditions by adding a wind barrier at the neck without requiring a heavier jacket.
- Flame-retardant and anti-UV are fabric treatments, not coatings: Both properties are chemically bonded to the fabric fibres rather than applied as a surface coating — they remain effective after washing without degrading in the way that surface coatings peel or wash out over time.
- Armor is removable for washing but not for riding: The CE Level 2 shoulder, elbow, and EVA back protectors are removable to allow the jacket to be machine washed — they should always be reinstalled before riding. The jacket does not meet CE protection standards without them in place.
